WoW Item Upgrades
More commonly referred to as "upping"--are enchantments and items that can be put on weapons and armor pieces and increase their stats. These upgrade items increase the gauge of an item by a certain number of points. Their cost increases depending on their rarity.
A perfectly formed version of this armor is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community due to its ability to minimize the damage caused by weapons.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are a crucial component of the equipment crafting process. They can improve the quality of an item and make it stronger or less durable, and even provide an added benefit. They also affect the item's appearance. While certain upgrades are universal, other have specific rules when applied to weapons or armor. The wrong upgrade can ruin an otherwise excellent weapon, and could even render it unusable.
In general you can only upgrade an item of equipment up to the level of its highest-level counterpart. You can only upgrade helms up to the highest level. Weapons, on the other hand, can be upgraded to the level of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage and can reduce its trade value.
To upgrade an item, you must spend flightstones and crests. The amount of both depend on the item level and slot. For instance, an upgrade to a sword will cost more flightstones than upgrading a cloak or bracers. You may also get discounts on the amount of flightstones or crests needed to upgrade an item.
The diamond-shaped indicator on an item is filled up when it is upgraded. Each step raises Tier level by one-third. Tier 3 is the highest level. It can take several upgrades to get to this level, based on the item. It is important to note that any processes that mount a disk should not be performed during an upgrade. Also, you must make sure that the disk you are upgrading is not being used as a system drive.

Enchantment is a feature which lets you transform white or Common items into blue or rare ones. Eleanor's Enchantment Shop, located in the Capital District is where you can do it. This method does not add gem or rune slot to the equipment. However it can alter its dimensions. It increases the size of the equipment by the size of a creature two categories smaller, for example, a Blaster Pistol is deemed small, while the Stormtrooper Armor is Medium.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be used on any type of equipment. This includes weapons, armor and trinkets. Upgrade components are available through Side Quests or random drops. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent, and they can overlap with Power-Ups. They may be linear or branching.
Universal Upgrades begin when "internal technology" can give sentient beings new capabilities they are extremely unlikely to develop naturally. Examples of internal technology are implants or prostheses. This type of upgrade is different from medical internal technology that seeks to restore natural capabilities. It is the beginning of an era that will change civilizations in a fundamental way. The universal upgrade is a complex procedure that can take an extended time to complete. The process can be classified into two types: complete success and partial failure.
This is similar to how resort upgrades work at Disney and Universal. In the case of WDW the reason for this is usually due to operational requirements such as availability of rooms or overbooking. In the case of Universal, it could be a case of moving guests to another resort that is open. This is not intended as an insult, but in the current economic climate, it may be impossible to avoid.
Contrary to Runes, Sigils and Jewels that can only be applied to specific kinds of equipment (armor trinkets, weapons, or) universal upgrades can be applied to any gear. They can also be applied to multiple items at a time. This makes them more flexible than other types of upgrade. However, this flexibility may cause problems when upgrading items in a specific gear path, because it can increase the value of all pieces in that path.
Prior to performing an upgrade, it is important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the application files that are already in use. After that you can install the new files using the GetChildItemRecurse command or Unblock-File. To ensure that your PSU server is working correctly, you should also perform an initial verification.
Jewels
Jewels can be incorporated into weapons, armor or other accessories. Suggested Site offer varying stat bonuses and other effects depending on the gem and reagent used to create them. They can be found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions and V Blood Carriers and other regular enemies, or can be purchased from a Master Craftsman for karma or gold. Jewels can also be made on a jewelry table with 1 gem and 5 of the same type of reagent to create a jewel that is of a lower or higher tier. This process is the same as upgrading a gemstone with a table for gem crafting.
Jewel Tiers are determined by the number of modifiers that they have. Higher-tier jewels have more than lower-tier jewels. The primary effect of a gemstone is determined by the tier it is, while the secondary effect is randomly generated; players can use luck potions to increase the probability of better secondary effects.
Jewels can be incorporated into items that have sockets that match as with other upgrade components. For instance Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both offer a boost to strength, but the Garnet Pebble is only able to increase regular hits, while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's powerful attacks. Jewels can be put into all levels of armor, weapon, and accessory slots, as well as some trinkets with exotic or lower rarity which require a slot to be empty.
Like other DM mechanics, gems help to keep items feeling special to their owners. Through offering a variety of different upgrade paths jewels let players modify their equipment and choose the right combination for their needs. They can also upgrade their existing equipment using new jewels in the event that the original set of a certain type is no longer optimal.
Requirements
WoW's item upgrade system allows players to upgrade the item levels of equipment set pieces, weapons and trinkets over their current item level from specific Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor sources. These upgrades improve the stats of the base item and some also come with special effects (such as Dolphin's Grace, which gives players dolphin-like grace while they swim). Players can obtain these upgrades through any upgrader NPC or by rescuing them from items containing them, with different types of items dropping different upgrade components.
The process of upgrading is quite complex, but simple. Firstly, the player selects the item they want to upgrade, and then click the Upgrade button. A window will appear with the various upgrades available for this item. The window will display the upgrade level, the type of upgrade bonus (such Tech Points or a Quality Chance) and the cost of upgrading. The bonus for upgrading will be displayed below the bar which shows the upgrade level.
The player will need bring the item to the upgrader, who will explain how to upgrade the item. The player is then required to supply the correct currency and, if necessary, additional materials. The requirements for this are determined by the item's level. Weapons have more strict requirements in comparison to armor.
Many upgrade recipes come with an acceptable material list as well as the components required. This list lists the other upgrade components can be used on the item, and also includes an indication of whether the item is guaranteed to boost or extra effect. It is crucial to know because the value of an upgraded item may differ significantly based on the 'extras' it has, with well rolled gear being much more valuable than non-upgraded versions.
For the kinds of upgrades that require crests or valorstones, they will be displayed in a separate listing below the main list. The crests and valorstones needed depend on the level of the item, with weapon upgrades requiring the most Valorstones.
